"Our mission is to serve God and man by reaching non-religious people and
helping them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."
Crossroads Community Cathedral exists as a church to follow the teaching of the holy scriptures in reaching out to people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and to support them in their journey.
This is the stated Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28:19, 20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46, 47). Amassing crowds, constructing buildings and even bringing the lost to "a decision" fall short of this purpose, unless believers mature and become obedient in everyday life to God's will as revealed through the Bible.
To reach our goal of living as a biblical community, we function together as one body (Romans 12; Acts 2:40-47; I Corinthians 12:13-27), working as a family in love and service. The geographical location of the church is in a multicultural area, and we support working together in harmony, celebrating differences in gifts and backgrounds.
Crossroads Community Cathedral is a church affilliated with the Assemblies of God, serving the area of Greater Hartford Connecticut and supporting ministries world wide. |
