Outreach Ministries
Home Care Ministry Benevolence Ministry Convalescent Home Ministry Street Witnessing Prison Ministry Homeless Shelter Outreach Mission Field (Short-term Missions) CCOM is made up of outreach ministries working in the communities of greater Hartford. Such ministries include: Convalescent homes We minister to adults and children through personal development, discipleship and educational programs out in the community. The mission of CCOM is to serve God by reaching out to socially and economically vulnerable children, youth and adults in the greater Hartford area. Home Care Ministry provides loving care and mercy to those within the church body who cannot attend a weekend service. We make regular visits to their home. We also bring cheer and encouragement to those who are in the hospital. If you would like more information about the Home Care Ministry, please contact Rev. Fernando De La Cruz at (860) 895-1231, ext. 669. Benevolence ministry reaches out with the love of Christ and a helping hand to the local community around us. Crossroads has a food pantry that provides non-perishable food items to those in need. If you would like more information on this ministry, please contact Crossroads Administrative Office at (860) 895-1231. An outreach group also ministers at a local Soup Kitchen once a month. Crossroads Convalescent Home ministry makes regular visits to Sterling Manor, our local convalescent home, every other Sunday at 1:00 p.m. If you would like more information regarding being part of the Convalescent Home Ministry, please contact Linda Williams at (860) 568-4925.
Crossroads Street Witnessing team regularly meets on Saturdays to distribute the gospel message by handing out tracts to people in the streets of Hartford. If you would like more information on being part of our Street Witnessing ministry, please contact James Ansara at (860) 289-1707. Prison Ministry endeavors to bring hope and encouragement to those who are in correctional facilities. Each weekend this group proclaims and teaches the Word of God in several area prisons. We minister to prisoners in Enfield, Somers and the Hartford correctional facilities. If you would like more information about the Prison Ministry, please contact Rev. Raul Anduaga at (860) 291-9801. Crossroads Homeless Shelter Outreach visits the local homeless shelters in Manchester, East Hartford and Hartford and offers rides to the Sunday 8:30 AM service. Prior to the service, guests meet for food and fellowship and receive God’s love through the church family. MISSION FIELD (SHORT TERM MISSIONS) Crossroads’ heart is to obey The Great Commission of Jesus to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Crossroads financially supports a large network of missionaries. Many of our church family also participate in short-term mission trips that extend globally.
